| The old part of Chinaillon
village dates back to the 12th Century. Now the modern village
offers all the requirements of a mountain resort with restaurants,
bars and a lively “après ski”. However, the
architecture of the village has been maintained in the authentic
and traditional style of the region. At
the heart of the Aravis ski area, the Chinaillon village is
at an attitude of 1400 metres. With more than 200km of piste
and rising to 2100 metres the pistes offer a range of challenges
to skiers of all abilities. The lower slopes offer a beautiful
skiing environment and there are stunning views of the high
Alpes from the summits of La Floria and Mont Lachat. |
